2006 4 CYLINDER RULES
FOR CJ RACEWAY
All cars are to be 4 cylinder, front wheel drive, with a maximum wheel base of 104". Wheel base must measure within 1/2 inch side to side. All cars should be neat appearing.
No glass, all plastic and trim must be removed.
No rearview mirrors.
Pump gas only, no addidtives.
Roll cage must be 4-point minimum,a minimum of 1 3/4 tubing, mounted in a safe manner with X or cross brace.
(3) door bars left side and (2) door bars right side.
Racing seat recommended or safe mounted bucket seat mounted to roll cage. If using bucket seat there must be a bar mounted to roll cage behind seat.
Doors must be securely fastened shut.
Master shutoff switch for electrical power.
Approved full face helmet with shield required. Fire resistant driver's suit required.
Racing seat belts required.
Full sized window net required.
No aftermarket mechanical parts allowed.
Windshield must have protective screen for driver's side. 1/4" screen mesh with a minimum (4) 1/2" bars behind mesh.
Stock dash required.
No Honda or Accuras. No turbo charged cars.
OEM size tires for car. Minimum tire pressure after race must be 32 pounds. Tow hooks required front and rear.
Car number must be on the front of the car 6" minimum. Car must be clearly marked with contrasting number 24" high and 3" stripe width and no more than 3 digits.
TOW HOOKS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Any changes or exceptions to these rules will be up to the track officials and will take
precedence over printed rules.
This is strictly an entry level novice class for fun. If you want to go faster or
by trick parts, there are 4 other classes you may compete in.
